Painting On The Coast led by Ria Poole 2 -5pm 
Open your senses and explore the relationship between land and sea in this outdoor painting workshop with artist Ria Poole. using a mindful, playful and expressive approach using acrylics and mixed media. Please wear warm old clothes and bring something to sit on. All materials provided, all abilities welcome.

The Confident Painter 6.30 -9.30pm 
a seminar for struggling or aspiring artists. The confident Painter will expose and debunk the barriers to creativity we set up for ourselves. Exploring approaches to practice whilst deconstructing the creative mindset, artist and psychologist Dr Ria Poole presents tried and tested methods for addressing confidence, motivation and engagement to enable your work to flourish.

Concertina Books Workshop with Sally MacCabe 10am - 1pm 
On this mixed media workshop, students will produce a paper concertina book using collaged papers, acrylics, found objects and various mark -making materials. Suitable for all levels of experience. All materials provided but an apron might be handy.

Nicola will take you to an inspirational local spot and help you to capture the scene and create a memory of the morning in pen and wash. bring your own materials

Painterly Printmaking With Jill Eisele 10.30am -1pm 
Working within the traditions established by Blake & Degas, you will explore expressive opportunities for artists to expand their ideas through colour and markmaking using simple printmaking techniques without a press. Using watersoluble inks, oil pastels and pigment exploring transfer Monotype, Monotype and Stencils. Tickets £10.50

Developing A Creative Sketchbook with Elaine Turnbull 10.30am -1pm 
banish the fear of the first blank page in your sketchbook! An informal approach looking at Elaine's sketchbooks as a starting point. Work with a variety of mixed media drawing and painting techniques to develop your visual language and create lively pages in your sketchbook.
