Talk – Images of old St Ives. St Ives Archive presents an illustrated talk on the historic buildings in the area around the Mariner’s Gallery and Porthmeor taken from the recently published book St Ives Bay Revisited which was compiled by volunteers from St Ives Archive and the Hayle Archive. This part of St Ives has been at the centre of the fishing industry for two hundred years.

Tuesday 14th September 10.30 - 1pm (Mariners Gallery) 
Workshop – Pen and Ink Drawing with John Higgins. The return of this popular workshop – come and experiment with drawing in ink with giant pens. Renowned local artist John Higgins will show you how. This fun workshop welcomes beginners. All materials supplied. This workshop is very popular – booking recommended.

Tuesday 21st September 10.30- 5.00 (Mariners) 
Workshop – Drawing and Painting ‘En Plein Air’ in St Ives. Spend the day painting and drawing in St Ives. Renowned local artist Clive Williams will show you the sights that inspired artists such as Ben Nicholson and help you create your own scenes of this picturesque town. All ages and abilities welcome. Some drawing materials provided (boards, ink, charcoal, graphite, chalk and paper). Please bring your own paints, pencils, watercolour paper and brushes. The workshop will be outdoors, weather permitting – or indoors if required. Bring your own lunch.
