Slater Born in Tottenham in 1927. Educated at Tottenham Grammar School, Studied at Hornsey College of Art. Taught from 1951 to 1980, after which he retired to take up full time painting as a career. Several exhibitions in London, Royal Academy, Savage Gallery, London Hilton Gallery, John Whibley Gallery. Also in Plymouth. He has received many awards and prizes since 1980 and his work has been commissioned by several companies in this country and in America. |
