He then spent thirty years in the advertising industry with some of the top London agencies winning a few prestigious international and national creative awards along the way. During his busy career he always found time to paint and has exhibited in many one man and group shows in London, the Home Counties, and later in France where he lived for five years when he left the advertising business. 

On his return to England he was drawn to Cornwall where he had spent a few happy holidays in his youth. He now lives and works in Falmouth and has become known for his graphic and sometimes visceral interpretations of landscape in oil and oil pastel. His works have been accepted for two consecutive years in the South West Open show and last year he participated in the Falmouth Summer Light Show.
