Ray Denton
Ray attended Leeds College of Art gaining a degree in Book illustration. After graduating was awarded a post graduate year. He worked in Educational Publishing as a book designer and illustrator becoming free lance and eventually turning to fine art. he lived in London for 35 years and moved to Cornwall in 1996
Exhibitions include:
The Royal Academy Summer Show
The Laing at the Mall Galleries, London
The Royal Society of Marine Artists (Winning The Charles Pears Award)
He won the Best in Show Award at the first of the societies Open Exhibitions
Has been featured in Cornwall Today and The Artists and Illustrators magazines.
Ray was also featured by West Country Television in 2004.
