LYNETTE PIERCE

Lynette was born in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, and is a member of the Sutton Art Society. She has had numerous exhibitions at galleries in Sutton Coldfield and other parts of the country. She has won numerous awards including the Eda Wilkinson award for best painting in an exhibition. 

Lynette has been at director at the St Ives Society of Artists since 2015.

Artist's CV

Lynette was born in Sutton Coldfield. She began visiting St Ives in 1980 and in 1990 finally moved here.

Lynette has always painted and is inspired by the changing moods of Cornwall which she captures with her landscapes and seascapes. She loves to work with watercolour as she finds it to be a beautiful and clear medium. Lynette has a studio near the beach in St Ives and paints most days drawing inspiration from the beautiful Penwith landscape.
